Pastor Lou McElroy

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. My name is Pastor Lou McElroy. I currently serve as the Senior, Pastor of The Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in downtown Houston, Texas.

I am a native of Port Arthur Texas and a graduate Prairie View A&M University, where I earned a B.B.A. in Business Administration. I am currently enrolled at the Reformed Theological Seminary in Houston, Texas, where I am working towards a Master of Divinity degree.

In 2017, I achieved certification in Executive Leadership for Nonprofit Organizations from Rice University’s Susan Glascock of Continuing Studies and earned various certifications in Christian counseling.

Having been ordained into the Ministry on July 23, 2003, by the now retired Pastor Michael E. Alexander of Chosen Fellowship Ministries in Missouri City, Texas. I have served the Lord and His people for the last 18 years.

Prior to joining the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church family in 2017, I served as an Associate Minister at Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church, in Houston’s Freedmen’s Town for 7 years under the leadership of the now deceased Rev. O. B. Brown.

I recently retired from corporate life after working for 18 years at the General Electric Company’s Healthcare Division in 2019, where I held the position as a Sr. Account Executive. Prior to GE, I worked for the General Motors Corporation and the Pitney Bowes Company for 12 years.

I am married to Jacqueline “Jackie” Bostic-McElroy. We have two Goldendoodles that are named Maximus and Prince.
